The pandemic may have stopped artists from touring, but it sure didn’t stop them from writing songs, especially with one another in their new-found free time.

Miranda Lambert is one artist who took full advantage of the time to write with other artists via virtual writing sessions and it has resulted in her name credited on a lot of new music for other artists.
"It's really fun… to write with other artists, because it's a whole different perspective," Lambert told Taste of Country Nights. "I just think it's fun to step outside of your own head and your own, sort of box and get in the head of other artists."
Most recently, Lambert has collaborated with Morgan Wallen, Parker McCollum, Ashley McBryde, Caylee Hammack and Lainey Wilson.
So what does all this songwriting mean for new music from Miranda?
"Stay tuned," she said. "It's not far."
Miranda’s most recent album, Wildcard, released in 2019 and has been the source of the singer’s three latest singles, “It All Comes Out In The Wash,” “Bluebird,” and “Settling Down.”
