Following in the footsteps of Guy, LSG, TGT, and more, the next R&B trio gearing up to take the world by storm is The Chi. Thomas, Hollister and Jones announced the group via social media. In a sleek photo of the three men, Jones wrote, "New R&B Group 'The Chi' Yesssss it’s happening! The level of music and songwriting will be impeccable and you already know the voices! It’s only right for us to come together and represent Chicago and R&B to the fullest."
The group has apparently been in the works for over a decade, but as you know great things take time.
Hollister wrote, "****BREAKING NEWS**** New R&B Group 'The Chi'… the music… the voices finally coming together to give your ears and hearts what you’ve been waiting for… we started talking about this in 2009 and now the time has finally come…. Brothas I count it an honor and privilege to Rep home with you both! LETS GO!"
Fellow R&B comrades praised the men for coming together, calling it an "R&B explosion." The group has yet to announce the dates for their new music, but trust that we are all on the edge of our seats.
