Olivia Rodrigo is making all of us her date to prom.
On June 23, the “drivers license” singer announced that she would be hosting her very own SOUR concert live-stream film, disguised as a prom. Tbh, sounds a lot better than the Holiday Inn ballroom.

Rodrigo shared on social media, “Since i never got to go to prom, I wanted to throw a little prom party with my fav ppl (you guys obvs)”
The SOUR Prom Concert Film debuts next Tuesday, June 29, at 11:30 PM ET on Olivia’s YouTube channel. The event will also include a “pre-prom” Q&A discussion hosted by the recent high school graduate. She will discuss the making of the upcoming concert film.
In order to promote her upcoming concert film, Olivia personally asked several fans to prom, with SOUR-themed proposals. Rodrigo showed up on the doorsteps of unassuming fans with a poster board sign that read, “Prom Would Be Brutal Without U.”

With flowers, sour candy, and SOUR merch in hand, the singer shocked fans and also the unexpected promposals allowed Olivia to live out the true prom experience.
