Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR single "Traitor" has arrived with a dreamy new music video directed by Olivia Bee showing the rising pop star swimming through her nostalgia of a love lost.
"Traitor" follows up Rodrigo's SOUR album opener "Brutal," which took listeners way up on the rollercoaster ride of teen angst, just to drop them back down to Earth with her thunderous suspicions of emotional unfaithfulness.
We all can relate to the pain felt when realizing a past significant other has moved on. As Olivia sings her story, she looks back in dreamlike visions of riding in a glowing pick-up truck, breaking into the grounds of a school, and wandering aimlessly through an arcade. Eventually, Olivia puts it all behind her and shuts the door on that sad chapter.
