Ahead of the premiere of her documentary P!nk: All I Know So Far, P!nk caught up with Variety to chat all about it, among other things.

Actually, one of those particular other things that we’ve decided to obsess about, is her suggesting the possibility for a “Lady Marmalade” reunion. Well for now it’s just an idea but still, “I want to see the reunion with all the young girls now,” P!nk said. “I never say never about anything. All the fun stuff that’s happened in my life has been almost by accident.”

The seminal 2001 version of Patti LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade” was a culmination of all the right things at the exact right time, put together for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. But, surpassing the songs greatness was its accompanying music video that featured the powerhouse girl group of our ’01 dreams, donning burlesque-inspired looks in line with the theme of the movie. Which actually according to P!nk, took her some time to get used to.
“I was not happy about my outfit,” P!nk offered. “I did not want to be in booty shorts, but I got into it. Cameras started rolling and I started feeling myself. Now I look at it and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, that body. Why didn’t I appreciate it?’” Idk girl! You tell us. Okay... now you must watch it.
Also up for discussion — that one time at band camp… lol jk. It was actually — that one time at her birthday party, when a game of spin the bottle led her and fellow Moulin Rouge starlet, Christina Aguilera to kiss.
“When I was painted instead of a shirt? Was is that one? Yes, she kissed me,” P!nk remembered. “That was a fun party.” And despite the happy memory, unlike the musical reunion, P!nk shut down the possibility of any future recreation of the kiss. “Nope, I have a 9-year-old dude,” she said, laughing at what her daughter would possibly say, “Is mommy kissing Christina?”
Set to premiere on Amazon Prime on May 21, P!nk: All I Know So Far, chronicles the singer’s life, giving you a behind-the-scenes look as she balances family and being on the road, leading up to her first Wembley Stadium performance on 2019's Beautiful Trauma world tour.
