Pooh Shiesty had been facing up to to 20 years in prison. According to NBC News, the rapper pleaded guilty to a single firearms conspiracy charge. Prosecutors allege that Williams was part of an armed group that shot at two people, additionally stealing marijuana and high-end sneakers. Both shooting victims survived.

The incident occurred in October 2020 at the Landon Hotel in Bay Harbor Islands, FL. Williams was first arrested in connection to the shooting and shortly released from custody. He was later indicted in June 2021 on four counts related to the shooting. Following his indictment, Williams engaged in a plea agreement. Prosecutors dropped three charges (related to separate events) including a gun charge that had a possible maximum sentence.

In another case, Williams was arrested again last June in connection to a Memorial Day weekend shooting. Reportedly, he shot and wounded a security guard after a performance at a Miami strip club.

Pooh Shiesty is a buzzing talent in Hip Hop. Thus far, he has collaborated with Gucci Mane, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, G Herbo, and Lil Durk. The Memphis rapper’s debut mixtape Shiesty Season, released last February, peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200.
