Ross spoke with Audacy and V-103's own Kenny Burns to discuss Jetdoc and more. Back in January, it was announced via Forbes that he was investing $1 million into the tech startup, Jetdoc. The company was founded in 2020 by Tommy Duncan, a Detroit-based healthcare entrepreneur. Designed as an "online health club," anyone can have a virtual doctor visit for $20 or can subscribe to the unlimited monthly service for $10.

The best part is that health insurance isn't required. Thus, anyone can get the help they need and members also receive a discount card for "up to 85% retail prices for prescription medications at most major pharmacies."

Ross tells Burns, "it's something I'm so proud to be apart of. I feel like our people are so underrepresented in the healthcare side. Me having my healthcare issues [...] once this opportunity was presented, I saw the actual vision and I saw how much money it could save a Black household, I said this is something I have to be apart of."

Furthermore, he also expressed, "as Black people, when we realize something's going on, it shouldn't be at the graveyard when we talk about what's really going on when we can get ahead of it [...] staying alive is ultimately what it's about." In terms of accessibility, Ross had this to say. "We talking less than what it costs to have Spotify on your phone. This is less than an Uber ride. You can [have a doctor on your phone in minutes] getting some real advice and if you need a prescription, you can have it right then."

"As Black people, that's something that I feel my grandfather and such avoided the hospital because you never knew what the bill would be [...] man, we can cut through all of that and get straight to the people," he continued.
