The Beatles drummer turned 81 and took to social media to share a birthday message and offer up a teaser. “Peace and love everybody,” Ringo wrote. “7 7 21 peace and love time. At noon peace and love.”
Several musicians and organizations like NASA and Abbey Road Studios took to Twitter to wish Starr a happy birthday.
“Happy Birthday Ringo!” Yoko Ono wrote. “Peace and Love. Lots of love, Yoko.”
“Today in history, a Starr was born!” NASA’s Twitter account wrote. “Wishing @RingoStarrMusic #PeaceAndLove and a happy 81st orbit around the Sun.
For his 80th birthday, Ringo treated fans to a virtual celebration with a livestream performance featuring a lineup of all starr, excuse us, all star musicians.
