On their most recent shared single "TKN," Rosalía and Travis Scott reunite to not only bring us a powerful new banger, but also give us a music video that says these two don’t put up with any nonsense.
With lyrics like, “no new friends or new wounds,” and shots of Rosalía and Travis stirring up chaos around Los Angeles as a loyal band of youthful little bruisers follow suit, one cannot help but feel the grungy yet spunky attitude pouring out of the music video and into our hearts.
This no-nonsense attitude that we are being served with a side of reggaeton influence just feels good, particularly during a time in society when it feels like we often have to be a bit more feisty while speaking up about the injustices in the world.
This is now the second song Rosalía and Scott have released together, after their highly popular, “Highest In The Room” remix featuring the GRAMMY-winning Latina Pop Star, was so well received. “TKN” is sung in both Spanish and English, and Rosalía and Travis are both heard on the track dropping lyrics together in Spanish.
The choreographed chaos that ensues in the video feels rebellious, inspiring, and the beat makes you want to get up and move in ways you probably haven’t moved since sheltering in place.
