After months of anticipation, that included the arrival of her viral chart-topping singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” we finally have our hands, or should we say ears, on 10 other new songs from the Pop princess and they don’t disappoint.

The aptly named record, served up by the 5 ft darling, consists of 12 songs, sees Sabrina leaning harder into the she-man-eating flow found on “Nonsense,” off her previous album emails i can’t send.

From weaving in some twangy bits on “Slim Pickens” just as she did with “Please Please Please,” and asking “Come right on me… where art thou? Why not uponeth me?” in between her flirtatious falsetto vocals on “Bed Chem” — a blatant ode to her (possibly former) beau Barry Keoghan, to letting her ex’s new girl know what’s up on the yummy soft-rock album opener “Taste.” As well as getting strummy with it on “Coincidence,” a 21st century Joni Mitchell type track, but with Sabrina’s signature platform boot kicking vibes.

Also dropping a dash of Pop infused 90s R&B on “Good Graces, and plenty of savvy snark on ballads like “Dumb and Poetic” and “Lie to Girls.” Sabrina covered all the bases in a perfectly Short n’ Sweet amount of time.

“Short n’ sweet is officially yours now!!!," Sabrina captioned the official album drop post on IG. “I feel extremely lucky that each time i write a new record i learn a little bit more about myself, and can create from that place.”

Carpenter continued, “the making of short n’ sweet was one of the most special, honest, up and down, stupid and fun experiences of my life. I thought if something was funny enough to make me laugh then maybe it belonged in a song. happy or sad!”

“Thank you to my brilliant talented friends, writers, producers, mixers, engineers, and creative minds that helped me bring this world and these songs to life. not a serious thought was thunk yet somehow they were.. lol i love you all and am so grateful,” she began to close out.

Concluding, “I will keep this short n sweet buuuut more soon. go listen now and i hope you love it.”
