We already know a new Paramore album is on the way, but to this point details have been scant. Hayley Williams and her bandmates have been privately sharing their feelings on the record, but have now gone public with their thoughts and they are absolutely hilarious.

Williams shared a screengrab of a text conversation with her Paramore bandmate Zac Farro as the two discussed the band’s upcoming sixth studio album. The two made us burst out in laughter as they shared several emojis of grandparents when talking about “paramore 6.”
“We! are! getting oooooold!” Williams captioned her Insta post.
All jokes aside, we’re psyched for a brand new Paramore record as the group’s last album came in 2017 with After Laughter. Williams shares those sentiments as she revealed back in February she’s not planning another solo album so she can focus on making a new Paramore record.
"There are more songs, yeah. but I’m not planning on another solo album," Williams responded to a fans question on Twitter about future solo material. "And I’m not sure if they’d be great for Paramore. I’m ready for the next Paramore album. let’s go.”
The comments came after Williams surprised fans with the release of her second solo album, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos back in February.
“Wrote and played every part on this album myself. recorded all of it in lockdown last year,” Williams captioned the Instagram post announcing the album.
FLOWERS for VASES / descansos marked Williams’ second consecutive solo album as she released her debut solo record Petals for Armor back in May 2020.
