Never one to do the expected, rather than wearing a bikini, Rihanna opted to go for a swim in some Savage x Fenty lingerie, and now we’re forced to re-think everything.
No for real, like is up really down? Is left actually right? What?! Fine okay, we’re being dramatic, but basically what we’re trying to say is — when you look that good, “rules” don’t apply and you can do as you please, even especially if that means swimming in a backless red see-through bodysuit.

On Sunday, three posts were shared via the lingerie brand's Instagram, the first two of Rihanna sporting the sheer red look, followed by a third post of her rocking a red bra from the same collection. Per usual, Rih was a total vibe, with her hair in a short pixie cut to perfectly show off the T-strap bodysuit back featuring a rose gold "X" medallion.
Fittingly Savage x Fenty savagely went with, “Subtle summer? We don’t know her… 💅🏾” as the caption for the first pic, and “☀️Sun & Soaked💧” for the second post, both of which featured the hashtag #SavageXSummer.
Going with a three pic series for the third post, Rihanna accessorized her fit (or lack there of) with three gold chains, jewel toned earrings and the sickest iridescent glasses we’ve ever seen and officially now desperately need. But perhaps the best accessory of all, per the posts caption, was Rihanna’s “🤑✨Billion dollar smile ✨🤑.”
Okay wait, after scrolling though the comments section, and obvi agreeing with all the complementary replies, one or two particularly stood out. "Is this a bra or are we finally getting Savage swimwear?” questioned a fan. While, another exclaimed, "Do swimwear!!!!"
While odds are slim that RiRi’s rocking any pieces from a seemingly unannounced potential swimwear line, our thoughts on the matter are — ummm.. yes please. What's one more thing to add to her billion dollar empire? Don’t get it twisted though, we’d still rather have new music. And if she’s feeling particularly generous, we’ll obviously take both.
