With a highly anticipated album on the way, Janelle Monáe is revealing how this year's biggest film so far became such an inspiration, and why she wants a role in the sequel.
Monáe is getting to release Dirty Computer, her long awaited follow up to 2013's The Electric Lady. The lead single, "Make Me Feel," was released on February 22 along with "Django Jane." A third track, "Pynk," was just released earlier this month.
Dirty Computer is on track for an April 27 release.
