While coaching for Texas A&M at the time, Carter paired pink leather pants with a white turtleneck and clear heels. Surprisingly, her game day attire was widely criticized on social media. On the latest episode of Small Doses With Amanda Seales, Carter says she was actually shocked by the comments surrounding her outfit.
“It definitely surprised me because I have been posting my photos since the year before, when I first got the job at A&M,” says Carter. “So this wasn’t anything new I was doing. But I didn’t think twice about what I had on because I had on a turtleneck and some pants.” She went on to say that she takes pride in what she does, therefore she wants to look nice and put her best foot forward everyday. “And we won the game for anybody questioning,” she added.
