Another Halloween, means yet another epic costume from The Weeknd. And if you thought the Canadian singer wasn’t going to top last years prosthetic sorcery that turned him into The Nutty Professor — well, not sorry to say… you were wrong.
This year, The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) once again got his prosthetics specialist to transform him, but this time into Don Vito Corleone from The Godfather.
Abel took to IG on All Hallows’ Eve to share a few snaps and video of himself in full character. But perhaps our favorite part was his clever play on words caption, “the don is coming”— of course referencing his upcoming album and new era.
Looking on point and completely unrecognizable, we’re not even exaggerating when we say that if the post didn’t actually come from the “Save Your Tears” singers’ account, we would have legit never known it was him.
It's no secret The Weeknd takes Halloween pretty seriously and like we previously mentioned, last year acing it as Eddie Murphy‘s The Nutty Professor and the year before that back in 2018, he and then-girlfriend Bella Hadid totally nailed their costumes as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz.
If you scroll through the comments of this year's post, you'll see we aren’t the only ones shooketh by The Weeknd's ability to consistently slay each year.
Praising the singer's consistency when it comes to Halloween, one fan wrote, "This mans had the best celebrity Halloween costume for 6 years straight now.” While another wrote, “No cap the weeknd takes halloween to next level every year.”
