There's a college course on Nicki Minaj that might include a visit from the Queen herself

Similar to the upcoming honors course at Texas State University titled Harry Styles And The Cult Of Celebrity: Identity, The Internet And European Pop Culture and New York University’s Clive Institute course all about Taylor Swift, The University of California, Berkeley will offer a course dedicated to Nicki Minaj this upcoming Spring 2023 semester.

Announced by the course’s professor, Dr. Peace and Love El Henson via a series of now-protected tweets, the semester-long class, titled Nicki Minaj: The Black Barbie Femmecee & Hip Hop Feminisms, is described as a class that “is interested in thinking critically about [Minaj] and [her] productions w/in the context of broader historical-social structures & hip hop feminisms.”

Excited to share the news, Twitter user @Tcmccr revealed that UC Berkeley course plans, tagging the Queen of Hip Hop in the tweet. In response to the news, Minaj replied that she would "love to stop by," to which the class' professor was elated responding, "having [Minaj's] personal insights would be AMAZING.”
