After his diagnosis in 2020, Parker shared the devastating news, telling Britain’s OK! Magazine, ”[The doctors] pulled the curtain around my bed and said, 'It's a brain tumor. All I could think was, ‘F***ing hell!' I was in shock,” he said recalling his thoughts. "It's stage four glioblastoma and they've said it's terminal. It was a lot to deal with by myself. I still haven't processed it."
Remaining hopeful throughout, Parker last update to fans about his health condition was in November 2021. When he shared on Instagram that his tumor was "under control" after undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
"We had the results from my latest scan… and I'm delighted to say it is STABLE," he wrote. "We couldn't ask for any more really at this point; a year or so in to this journey... Thank you for all your love and support over the last 12+ months."
Regarding the kindness from others, Kelsey went on share her gratitude, “We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom's light continues to shine for his beautiful children.”
As part of the post, Kelsey shared a photograph of herself and Tom with their beautiful children, daughter Aurelia Rose, 2½, and son Bodhi Thomas, 17 months, following a black-and-white portrait of her late husband.
