On Sunday, the rapper further teased its impeding arrival along with a show (that nbd or whatever) take place at the pyramids in Egypt. Taking to Instagram for the announcement, Travis wrote, “UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS TICKETS AND UTOPIA PACK On TRAVISSCOTT.COM,” alongside a graphic that mentions the performance date — July 28, and also reads, “Utopia is wherever you are.”
Well, while Utopia might be “wherever you are,” experiencing the live performance does actually require you to be in Egypt. But don’t worry, if you can’t fit the trip into your schedule or budget, the event will be available to view via livestream. So yeah, technically it is “wherever you are.”
As for Utopia’s actual release date, that has yet to be officially announced, however one of the billboards teasing the album, featured a combination lock with the numbers “07211,” which might be a reach, but has led some to speculate that July 21 is the potential drop date.
So while Houston Astros players already got a preview of the album back in May, the rest of us will have to wait to experience Utopia until either the album drops or the livestream airs.
Tickets to the live performance are available to purchase — HERE, as well as various Utopia Packs, that include the album — HERE.
