The upcoming 7th season will once-again feature a cast of stars living together in a posh mansion and competing in various challenges.
The new group of famous luminaries set to be roommates include former NBA star Dennis Rodman, “Malcolm in the Middle” alum Frankie Muniz, rapper August Alsina, adult film actress Stormy Daniels, singer/actress Tamar Braxton, comedian Kim Coles, wrestler CJ Perry and YouTube star Manny MUA.
“The Surreal Life is known for bringing together some of the biggest names in pop culture and creating many unforgettable moments in reality television,” Nina L. Diaz, President of Content and Chief Creative Officer of MTV Entertainment Group, said in a statement.
“We are excited to see how this stellar celebrity cast will make captivating television for audiences everywhere.”
Initially premiering in 2003, “The Surreal Life” aired for two seasons on The WB network (which later morphed into the CW) before moving on to VH1 for four seasons. The most recent season aired in 2006.
Past cast members have included MC Hammer, Corey Feldman, Vanilla Ice, Charo, Omarosa, and “Full House” star Dave Coulier, among others.
The series also launched rapper Flavor Flav’s reality career after he appeared on the show’s third season and struck up a relationship with fellow housemate Brigitte Nielsen.

The duo went on to star in the spinoff series “Strange Love,” with the Public Enemy co-founder moving on to “Flavor of Love.” VH1 then spun off other offshoots including “Rock of Love,” “I Love New York” and “Charm School.”
While an official date has yet to be announced, the seventh season of “The Surreal Life” is set to premiere this fall on VH1.
