The incomparable actress and producer Viola Davis has just reached EGOT status having received awards from all of the big four: The Emmys, GRAMMYs, Oscars, and Tonys.

The 65th GRAMMY award show sealed the deal as Davis won Best Audiobook, Narration and Storytelling Recording for her memoir, Finding Me.

Paying homage to her younger self, "Oh my God! I wrote this book to honor the 6-year-old Viola; to honor her life, her joy, her trauma, everything," she said in her acceptance speech, "and it has just been such a journey. I just EGOT!"
Making history, she is one of three Black women to achieve this honor along with Jennifer Hudson and Whoopi Goldberg.
Fellow EGOT winner, Jennifer Hudson took to twitter to congratulate Davis on this honor.
“Hold the line !!!!!!! Viola Davis just became EGOT #18 !!! Omg @violadavis U are absolutely everything ! Congratulations to a living LEGEND. Time to celebrate !!!,” Hudson said.
Davis has two Tonys, for King Hedley II and Fences, an Oscar for best supporting actress as housewife Rose Maxson in Fences and she won an Emmy for her role of Annalise Keating in How to Get Away with Murder.
