As Walker took the field for his halftime debut, at-home viewers were quickly made aware of some issues with the sound setup at Arrowhead stadium. The result? Walker’s performance of “Fancy Like” and “AA” drowning out the sports broadcasters as they attempted to deliver the halftime report.
Twitter was all over the mishap (of course!) which even had the affected halftime reporters — Phil Simms, Bill Cowher, Nate Burleson and Boomer Esiason — laughing.
While Walker had no way of knowing what was going on as he performed, he definitely caught wind of it all after his performance as his social feeds were filled with mentions and memes.
The always easygoing Hayes joined in the fun retweeting one of his favorite tweets calling his performance “The loudest halftime show in history.”
