Walker Hayes could be “Fancy Like” an American Music Award after receiving a nomination in the Favorite Country Song category this week. A song all about his humble and simplistic lifestyle, it’s only fitting his kids weren’t very impressed.

After receiving the nomination news, Walker enthusiastically announced the news to his family, but turns out — they were less than impressed.
“Guess what, guys?!” Walker asked his kitchen full of his kiddos and wife, Laney. “I got nominated for AMA favorite Country song.”
“Sick,” said one of his pre-teen sons. “Nice,” mumbled a second.
“That’s pretty cool,” said oldest daughter, Lela, before eagerly asking, “Is Why Don’t We gonna be there?!”
Tough crowd, Walker! These can’t be the same kids who were marveling at a glow in the dark t-shirt sent by Jimmy Fallon earlier in the week following Walker’s appearance on the late night TV show!
