BTS is bridging the gap between K-Pop and R&B in their latest cover. The renowned international group made their first appearance on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and boy, what an appearance it was.

The group performed their 2020 smash hit, "Dynamite" and their newest single, "Permission To Dance" while at the Live Lounge. "Permission To Dance" debuted at No. 2 on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs chart and spent 7 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
However, the group also paid tribute to the iconic Hip Hop/R&B ballad, "I'll Be Missing You" from Puff Daddy and Faith Evans— created to honor the tragic death of The Notorious B.I.G.. The song also famously samples The Police's song, “Every Breath You Take.” The BTS version not only had RM rapping the intro, but they also sang and rapped a portion in Japanese.
