The 23-year-old was charged for four felonies— one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, aggravated assault and gun possession during the commission of a felony— by a Georgia jury, according to TMZ.
Born Richard "Ricky" Lamar Hawk, he was arrested for the murder of his 34-year-old cousin, Frederick Rooks back in January. Rooks suffered from gunshot wounds to his face and leg. On January 21, police responded to shots fired at around 3:30AM. Rooks was found dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds. A total of eight bullet casings were found at the scene as noted by the initial police report.
Police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent said, "after a thorough investigation, [DeKalb County Police Department] detectives identified Hawk as Rooks’ cousin, and the person responsible for Rooks’ murder."
In 2020, Hawk was arrested twice— once for driving at 143 MPH and once for attacking two people with a hatchet in their home. Silento's team has reportedly expressed that he's been suffering from "various mental health issues for several years." He's currently being held without bond.
