Thanks to YUNGBLUD, we just got a creepy look into his future in his latest music video.

On Friday, the Doncaster-born rocker released his new video for “The Funeral,” which features guest cameos from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. We see that Ozzy is in attendance at YUNGBLUD’s funeral, but at the end of the video, we learn that the “fleabag” artist is being laid to rest because the two Rock legends ran over the singer with their car.
The visual, which was directed by Christian Breslauer, starts with an eerie shot of the rocker laying in a coffin as the Prince of Darkness hangs over him and questions, “Hang on is this a f***ing funeral? Where the f*** everybody?”
The video quickly pivots to an alive YUNGBLUD performing on stage and driving a skull-covered car recklessly through the streets. Throughout his on-stage performance, YUNGBLUD is surrounded by fans as he sings the lyrics to his latest track, “I’ve been dancing at my funeral/ Waiting for you to arrive/ I was hoping you’d look beautiful/ Dancing with tears in your eyes/ But nobody came, what a shame shame shame.”
Additionally, the musician is seen surfing through the crowd in a black, red velvet-lined coffin. Finally, we are taken back to a shot of YUNGBLUD parking his skull-mobile and arriving at his own concert as a fan in the crowd. As the fan version of YUNGBLUD steps out of the show, he crosses the street looking unaware of his surroundings.
Just as the artist looks to the right he is barreled over by Ozzy and Sharon’s car. Osbourne turns to his wife and asks “what the f*** was that?” Sharon nonchalantly replies, “just some f***ing poser.” Ozzy concludes, “ah run him over again then.”

YUNGBLUD’s new single follows his 2021 track “Fleabag,” which has continued to sit on the top 10 on Billboard’s Alternative Airplay chart. In 2020, YUNGBLUD released his sophomore album, Weird!
