Romeo Miller, host on Fox Soul's The Mix, recently recalled his experience being pulled over by a Black LAPD officer at gunpoint. Recently, he was at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the former rapper warned that "if you get pulled over at UCLA, you better have that camera recording 'cause they don't play no games." The officer pulled him over at gunpoint assuming the car Miller was driving was stolen.

Miller recalls the Black officer stating, "is this a stolen vehicle?" With his hands raised, Miller asked the officer to relax and offered to have him look at his license and registration. Once the cop realized who Miller was, he stated, "Romeo Miller? Oh, you good. I though you were just some random Black dude." The other hosts were visibly shocked.

Miller, naturally upset, expressed how scary the situation truly was. "My brothers ain't famous. They're bigger than me. They're 6'4", 6'5" [and] these guys intimidated by Black men. I have little brothers that literally look like grown men and it's like what are they gonna go through when [cops] don't realize 'oh, I know you from TV, so you're not a threat.'"
