Slipknot wouldn’t be the first lullaby of choice for most parents dealing with a fussy baby. But that’s not the case for one Reddit user who was able to subdue his infants caterwauling with the band’s soothing speed metal.
Reddit user Minh1905 posted a video of his baby wailing uncontrollably, Tuesday. It seemed like the temper tantrum would lag on for eternity, until he started playing Slipknot’s track "Psychosocial.” Twitter user @klara_sjo reposted the video. As the drum line starts to kick in, the baby earns its award for Most Awesome Infant by bobbing and cueing to the melody.
The user labeled his video, “Life Hack: Baby won't stop crying? Slipknot does the trick.” Parents use to feed warm milk to their crying babies, but that trend apparently looks to be dying with babies rising interest in rock.

It seems like Slipknot is permeating into all aspects of media and normal life. The group celebrated Halloween this year by offering band masks from the We Are Not Your Kind era. There are nine face coverings in all. Each one represents an individual band member.
Frontman Corey Taylor is also experimenting with different media. He recently released a new online video game promoting his latest album CMFT.
His game avatar is outfitted in plaid pants, a plain jacket, revealing undershirt and fancy hat. “There can only be one champion,” Taylor tweeted alongside game footage. “Battle for the #CMFT Title Belt and claim it as your own.”
Taylor is getting creative in promoting his latest album. He recently performed a new streaming concert loaded with pyrotechnics, professional lights, a dance troupe and an empty LA Forum stadium.
