The 31-year-old Pop star took to social media over the weekend to express her gratitude when Billboard revealed her album, Evermore, hit the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 for a fourth nonconsecutive week.

"This one hit me hard," Taylor expressed. "I’m so in my feelings (more so than usual!) over what you all did here for Evermore. Blown away by how much you care, and how long we’ve been caring about each other. Love you, so very much."

A very sweet statement, but in true Taylor fashion, fans believe there is more to the post than meets the eye. At the end of her post, Taylor included four red heart emojis which has her “Swifties” fan base digging deeper. Could the red hearts symbolize a re-recording of Taylor’s 2012 album Red in the near future?

Swifties are clearly on high alert (per usual) after just two months ago they were fully convinced Taylor’s 2014 album, 1989, would be the next re-released project. Fans shared their speculations after Taylor supposedly dropped some hints during a late-night interview with Stephen Colbert.

It’s no secret Taylor has been working on re-recording her earlier albums; Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and reputation in an effort to regain artistic control of her music.

Her first re-record was of her 2008 album, Fearless, which she re-released as, Fearless (Taylor’s Version), in April 2021. The new version included a total of 27 tracks, with six of them being brand-new songs she released from her song vault.

It’s no wonder Swifties are trying to crack the code on the next release — who knows that other surprises (and new music) it’ll bring!
