On Thursday (June 8), the Beyhive noticed that Beyoncé removed her profile pictures from all of her social media accounts. The theory is that the singer will make a major announcement soon–perhaps a new album. It’s been over six years since Beyoncé released a full-length project. Coincidentally, her last album Lemonade was not announced beforehand. If a new album is actually in the works, it would be Beyoncé 7th studio album.
Recently, Beyoncé opened the Oscars with a memorable yellow-themed performance of “Be Alive.” The powerful record which appeared in the film King Richard, was nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Academy Awards. The televised performance took place live at a tennis court in Compton, and featured a choir and orchestra.

Another Beyonce-related theory is that her athleisure line Ivy Park is releasing a new collection. Last month, Ivy Park and adidas launched a new Super Sleek sneaker. The collaboration reimagines the classic Stan Smith sneaker collection.
