With dangerous 30-40 mph sustained winds and up to 60 mph gusts expected for Saturday, WWWY organizers were forced to sideline the day's show, just as fans prepared to venture into the desert.

"This is not a decision that came lightly," the official accounts for the festival shared in a statement. "We know many of you have traveled to the area to have a spectacular day with your favorite bands and have been looking forward to this day for months. We were equally as excited and are devastated to have to share this news."

Today's bands were set to take the stage in Las Vegas at 11:30AM PT, promising a packed day of music capped by reunited performances from My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Plans for additional dates of Sunday October 23 and Saturday October 29 currently remain on track.
