The single is the first taste of a new album for Rhett, who says it’s the perfect song to get fans ready before the album releases in August. “I love being able to put something out as my first single that just opens up the room to play anything after that,” he said of the choice to make “Beautiful As You” the lead single. “With the record coming out in August, I felt like this was a good first single choice to get people reengaged in our music and it feels like something I can’t wait to play in our live show as well.”
After connecting to the lyrics from the first time he heard them, Rhett is excited to share what he hopes will be another hit with fans, while most importantly, looking to spread some joy. “I love that we got to make a love song that actually was joyful and made people want to move and made you want to dance,” he shared. “My hope for this song is that it brings a smile to people’s faces and brings joy to people.”
