Another gender reveal has gone horribly wrong -= this time in Michigan.
A 26-year-old man died in Michigan on Saturday after a small, celebratory cannon went off at a baby shower and shrapnel went everywhere, according to a WJRT story.
The incident is being investigated.
"The metal shrapnel flew as far as 25 feet, hitting three parked cars and the garage at the home in Gaines Township," the USA Story reports. The story reports the man, Evan Thomas Silva, did not set off the cannon.
Last year, it was revealed that the September El Dorado Fire in San Bernardino was sparked by a gender reveal party. Charlie Morton, a firefighter, who died in the El Dorado Fire, was a San Diego native.
Similarly, last year, the woman who many consider created these types of events, Jenna Karvunidis, said she regrets and condemned them.
