Lauer and Cohn are founding members of The Institute For Sustainability. Lauer is a contributing author to a "Common Sense Approach to Sustainability." Lauer and Cohn are active members of numerous chambers of commerce, members of the Women Business Leaders of the Healthcare Industry Foundation and serve their community on volunteer boards.
