Nothing is sweeter than brotherly love.
A 6-year-old boy calmed down his 4-year-old brother from a temper tantrum with breathing techniques in an adorable video.
Noah saw his younger brother Cory having a meltdown when he was told that he couldn’t play his Nintendo Switch because the controllers were not charged. The big brother knew that he wanted to help calm his brother down, Good Morning America reported.
While the younger brother was crying, Noah led Cory through breathing exercises that helped to soothe him.
Ashley West, 30, the boys’ mother, saw the adorable moment and captured it on camera. The video has already gained over 178,000 views on Instagram.
West explained how she teaches her boys to go through healthy coping mechanisms but never saw her sons try it.
“That kind of prompted me to record it,” West said. “I’m like, ‘Oh my god this is so cute. You’re actually listening to me.’”
The mother is working on her master’s degree in social work and tries to apply what she learns in class at home.
“I didn’t realize how much it could be applied in my own home until I actually started trying to do it and that’s kind of where that came from,” she said.
