UK police have found a David Schwimmer doppelganger suspect. Police arrested a 36-year-old man accused of theft. They thanked Schwimmer for his support in their search.
Following the appeal we posted looking for a man who resembles a well-known actor, we now have an update. Thanks to our colleagues @MetPoliceUK, a 36-year-old man was arrested in Southall last night on suspicion of theft. Thanks for the support, especially @DavidSchwimmer! pic.twitter.com/sUy5XyS4im

This comes after a surveillance photo made the rounds. And the internet went wild over how much he looked like the 52-year-old "Friends" actor.
Schwimmer responded with a spoof video to clear his name and wished the officers well on their investigation. Perhaps it was Schwimmer's heightened sense of awareness that helped the force get their guy.
