Ariana Grande will not attend the 61st annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday after she reportedly had a disagreement with producers over which songs she would perform.
Grande, who is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album for 2018's Sweetener and Best Pop Solo Performance for "God Is a Woman," wanted to sing "7 Rings," her 2019 hit. But she was reportedly "insulted" when producers asked her to sing a medley of songs, which would have included "7 Rings," reports Variety.
"Grande pulled out after producers insisted that the second song be of their choosing," a source told the publication. The source also said that "such stipulations were not imposed on other performers at the show."
Grammys reps did not respond to Variety for comment. A rep for Grande did not respond to RADIO.COM's request for comment.
The 2019 GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 10, at 8 p.m. EST.
