Rainer Jaschke wasn't sure he'd ever be able to walk his daughter down the aisle.
The Canadian father had to have his leg amputated last year after a battle with diabetes, nearly crushing his dream of the iconic moment.
Thanks to the committed staff at Hamilton Health Sciences, Rainer got fitted with a prosthetic just weeks before the wedding. "They'll never ever know how much that means," he said. "It means the world to me and I think my daughter too."
After lots of hard work and dedication, he was able to give his daughter away, turning his impossible dream into reality in less than a month.
Their special moment was really was a walk to remember.
