A dog named Bri owes her life to the firemen that rescued her after the pup had fallen through the ice in a Colorado pond.
The crew rushed out to the stranded animal, also falling through parts of the frozen water, while the rest of the team held a safety rope on shore.
But once the animal was out of the pond, it appeared to be in good health, running back through the snow.
The fire department strongly advises keeping animals on a leash in dangerous winter weather, and to always call emergency services if they are in distress.
