Not only will President-elect Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden usher in a new era in politics, they’ll also make history when they arrive at the White House with their rescue German Shepherd.
The Biden's dog, Major, will be the first rescue dog to live in the White House. Major joined the family in 2018. Their other dog, Champ, has been with the Bidens since 2008.
As President Trump did not have any dogs, breaking with a long tradition, it’s been four years since any of man’s best friends have walked the halls of 1600 Pennsylvania.
The country collectively loved the Obama's dogs Bo and Sunny.
