Former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, along with Thomas Massie and Joe Kent, have initiated a new political movement with Tucker Carlson, and experts say that's bad news for MAGA.
Some think it could even potentially lead to a third-party presidential bid that topples whoever President Donald Trump chooses as his successor.
Carlson released a ten-point manifesto that hinted at a third-party bid, as the group is at odds with the GOP establishment and aims to seize the MAGA mantle. And the idea was cemented with MTG posted a photo on X.
"We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise," Greene wrote. "But he's betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center," she continued."
"The movement has begun," she added.
Later, MTG told the media, she and Carlson have gotten serious interest from major donors. “The support is overwhelming,” Greene said, adding her phone has been ringing nonstop since their photo, and she’s “really surprised” by how many large donors want to “donate in big ways to help it.”
