Pennsylvania Station is getting a massive makeover!
The iconic NYC landmark, which was originally built in 1910, is getting an entirely new wing.
The new train hall, known as Moynihan Station, will be created using the vacant Farley Post Office Building and will eventually house the LIRR.
Gov. Cuomo shared his excitement for the project on Twitter writing, "Today we announced the next steps in our comprehensive plan that will reimagine Penn Station, move Amtrak and LIRR to the new Moynihan Station, and give relief to the millions of people who pass through Penn every year."
The station will feature an entire ceiling of skylights.
