Jennifer Garner and Daughter Needed Rescuing When They Got Lost Kayaking In Sweden

Jennifer Garner's Sweden vacation took a terrifying turn, when the actress and her 12-year-old daughter, Violet, got lost on their kayaking trip.

The 46-year-old actress posted what appears to be a gorgeous picture on Instagram, but actually tells their scary tale. She wrote, "Did we paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and end up in a shipping lane? I'm afraid so. Did we have to be rescued? Yup." But she said the sunset was at least nice.

The mother-daughter team made it out okay. Jennifer thanked Mattias, from the kayaking company, for coming to their rescue. And they wrote on Instagram that it was all quite an adventure.

Mattias, one of the champions of the Långholmen kajak team, got a call from Jennifer Garner one evening. She was lost on the waters of Stockholm with her daughter in one of our double kayaks. Mattias got into a kayak of his own and started searching for them. Fortunately he found them not too far away and was able to guide them back to our rental. Quite an adventure!  Thank you @jennifer.garner for your visit, we hope to see you soon again!

But Jennifer says her pre-teen daughter was very brave during the whole ordeal and didn't even complain. At least she'll have a good story to tell her friends when she starts middle school real soon.
