COVID-19 heightens demand for mental health services

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — There is no doubt that the battle against COVID-19 will last for quite some time, but there is another battle that may be even more difficult in its own respect.

Just about everyone has been touched by COVID-19. Certainly, those who have lost a loved one or have suffered from a severe case of COVID-19 have been impacted the most.


For the majority of people, the virus and its impact remain very real. There has been fallout, but mental health issues — in particular, depression and anxiety — have touched many.
