PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Vaccinated travelers from foreign countries can now travel to the United States, and many Americans are booking flights as well.
It seems like more people are taking to the air to travel this holiday season. If you are, what is the best way to be as safe as possible?
The best protection is vaccination, which gives you the greatest protection from getting very sick.
Two other things: wearing a mask and social distancing at the airport. Masks are a must once in the air, but make certain that you also clean your environment once on the plane — wipe down the tray, seat arms and seatbelt, and limit unnecessary exposure.
Remember, even if you are vaccinated, you still can get the virus.
As more people continue to choose vaccination, there will be less of the virus circulating in the environment. Things are improving — but be smart.
