Major chains that will be closed on Thanksgiving

Imagine yourself a little over a month from now. You’re driving into the parking lot at Target to grab that pie you promised to bring to Thanksgiving dinner and – the store is closed.

It is never too early to plan for emergencies, and some major retailers have already announced that they will be keeping doors shut this November

2.      Best Buy

3.      Burlington Coat Factory

4.      Costco

5.      JCPenney

6.      Kohl’s

7.      REI

8.      Target

9.      Ulta

10.  Walmart

For those who really need an emergency item – like the aforementioned pumpkin pie – when Thanksgiving Day rolls around, select Albertsons stores will be open for at least a few hours on the holiday. Recently, Kroger and Albertsons announced a merger.
