When it comes to exercise, the time of day that you work out could have as much of an impact on your results as the type of workout you choose.

According to a study conducted at Skidmore College, women who worked out in the morning lost more body fat, but those women who worked out in the evening built more muscle and overall strength.
Men who worked out in the evening actually had a greater reduction in blood pressure over time. A growing number of studies are looking at the timing of workouts and the overall differences.
However, one key factor hasn’t changed — consistency is the key to success. Whatever the time of day, the workout needs to fit into your schedule.
