According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 13 states have now reported cases of norovirus and it's all coming down to raw oysters people have eaten.
The CDC says the raw oyster contamination has led to a total of 103 illnesses as of April 6th.
The 13 states affected by the contaminated oysters are California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Texas, and Washington. The CDC says other states could be added to the list soon due to records of distribution.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reports that the contaminated oysters were harvested in the southern and central parts of Baynes Sound in Canadian British Columbia.
