"Howl" will I ever live without you?
A heartwarming photo of two pups has caught the attention of many across the internet. A social media account, WeRateDogs, posted the picture and joked that the furry friends had been reunited after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Newsweek.
WeRateDogs shared the adorable snap on its Twitter page and captioned the post, “This is Simba and Cooper. They’re finally fully vaccinated. Hugging for the first time in over a year. Both 14/10 heartwarming as h*ck.”
Roberto Couto, the owner of Simba who lives in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, shared the picture with the Facebook group Dogspotting at the beginning of 2021. Couto said the photo of Simba, a mini Goldendoodle, and Cooper, a Havanese, was taken in 2020.
The two furry friends are neighbors and mostly take walks together with\ the families’ children.
“They see each other on weekends or if Simba escapes my yard,” Couto said. The owner added that Simba usually runs out of the yard to visit Cooper.
On Twitter, the picture of the best friends has gone viral and has received more than 240,000 likes.
Many on the platform were excited to see the moment and didn’t hesitate to comment on the photo.
One user said, “This is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day.”
Another person said, “I love this!”
