Deputy Mark Stasyuk of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office was killed in the line of duty, leaving behind his wife, parents, and younger sister.
When his little sister Aiyana was ready to return to middle school, she asked if her late brother's precinct could escort her.
When she got to school, there were deputies and officers from the entire Sacramento region lining her path.
While no one could ever replace her brother, Aiyana did gain a family of brothers and sisters in blue.
