"Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds is honoring one of his Hollywood heroes, John Candy, on the 25th anniversary of his death.
Reynolds put together the twitter video montage of the famous funnyman and fellow Canadian's best film moments from "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" to "Uncle Buck."
It's the 25th anniversary of John Candy's passing. We cooked up a small tribute to a comedic genius and Canadian hero. If you haven't seen much of his work, take a look at his films. He was a treasure. Thanks to @chriscandy4u and @therealjencandy. 🇨🇦 pic.twitter.com/dHvuviKnBs

Candy died March 4, 1994, at 43-years-old, after suffering a heart attack.
The comedian's daughter, Jennifer Candy, also shared childhood pictures remembering her father and responded to Reynold's tribute saying the video made her cry.
John Candy would have been 69-years-old this October.
